The Bahamas Professional Management Association

is a non-profit organization (NPO) based on the promoting best business practices in all aspects of businesses. One of our primary goals are to assist businesses to function efficiently and effectively by analyzing & reviewing current business methods and trends.

We are comprised of Certified Professional Managers and business professionals with whom all of us have attained our CM designation through the University of The Bahamas partnership with The Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM).

The concept of the BPMA was inspired and birth through our engagement at UB & encouraged by the associate Director for UB North, Mrs. Leterah Munnings. We felt compelled to share our knowledge with other business professionals and introduce a much needed platform to the country.

BPMA members will receive access to endless learning resources to enhance the skillsets as a professional or as a business owner. Our focus is on developing our management skills and becoming better leaders. BPMA members will also have access training materials such as virtual webinars, reading materials & workshops through our partnership with the National Management Association (NMA) which is an International Body. A few examples of such would be:

• Leading, supervising others
• Business laws & ethics
• Project Management, Strategic management,
• How to evaluate employee & organizational performance
• Leadership Styles based upon your organizations design
• Skills development, systems thinking, group learning etc.
